Knights of Columbus: A Proudly Pro-Life Organization

From the beginning, the Knights of Columbus have been proud to follow the teaching of our Church in proclaiming the sanctity of human life from natural conception through natural death:

• "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you." (Jer 1:5)
• "Since the first century the Church has affirmed the moral evil of every procured abortion. This teaching has not changed and remains unchangeable." (Catechism #2271)
• "Whatever its motives and means, direct euthanasia consists in putting an end to the lives of handicapped, sick, or dying persons. It is morally unacceptable." (Catechism #2277)

Farmingdale Council is proud to participate in the annual March For Life in Washington, DC. This year's event attracted an estimated crowd of 300,000 participants!
